Mind + Body

Find balance, focus, and fun, with Yoga and Yoga-inspired classes
designed to inspire a calm, connected, and pain-free you.

Yoga & Movement

Connect with your body and explore its potentials of mobility, stability, balance, and strength in a Yoga class that focuses on feeling—not nailing a "perfect" pose.

What to expect: traditional yoga asana with various forms of movement and modifications throughout to keep every body and ability feeling supported

Good for: everyone—from those new to yoga, to experienced yogis looking to tune up and tap into "beginner's mind"

Flow and Restore

Drawing from Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Hatha styles of Yoga, this class focuses on freedom of motion, and linking breath and movement to encourage strength and balance within the body.

What to expect: a fluid, rejuvenating practice, restorative postures to improve range of motion and joint mobility, reduce pain, and promote relaxation—concludes with Savasana and a gentle massage

Good for: anyone looking for vacation-like benefits without leaving city

Hatha Yoga

Taught in the tradition of Vanda Scaravelli, this class guides students through a sequence of consciously-balanced effort and rest.

What to expect: postures to develop strength and flexibility, release of the spine through stability and breath

Good for: anyone and everyone

Restorative Yoga

A delicious, slow-moving class designed to improve range of motion and joint mobility, reduce pain, and release stress and tension.

What to expect: deep restorative work, lots of supportive props, and postures held long enough that you can relax, release, and let go

Good for: those seeking the benefits of a gentle and restorative practice—especially great for anyone with injuries, arthritis, or other chronic conditions, limitations related to age or size, and students looking to balance a more vigorous yoga practice

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an exercise discipline practised for hundreds of years in the Orient. Our instructor Jonathan has been teaching Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan since the late 1980s. He is past President and an elder of the Canadian Tai Ji Quan Federation, and has been active in the Chinese martial arts community in Canada and internationally for many decades.

What to expect: slow, mindful movements based mostly on circular motion and flowing at a smooth, even tempo as the weight of the body is shifted from one side to the other

Good for: health, serenity, and even self-defense
