Beatrix | Pilates & Barre Instructor
Beatrix Nagy is passionate about fitness and even more passionate about women’s pelvic floor health through the mindful movement of Pilates. She studied ballet with the great Bella Kovarsky at Bayview School of Ballet, and Hungarian folk dance as a child and adolescent. Ballet always conflicted with her favourite childhood sports (volleyball and softball), but she made it work. After her degrees in Social Work from McGill and her MBA at Seton Hall, Beatrix worked in the training department at Dendrite International, then for a hedge fund in New York City. Since the age of 23, she’s been teaching group fitness classes. In 2013, Beatrix got her Stott Pilates mat certification and has sought to share her knowledge of Pilates ever since. Three years later, she received both her level 1 and level 2, Stretch-to-Win Fascial Stretch Therapy certifications. She believes everyone should be moving lots, pain free. Today, Beatrix is the mother of three amazing children (13,10 and 7) and the wife of an equally astounding husband. Beatrix teaches Barre, Skip n’ Stretch and Pilates classes. She also plays tennis and has recently (temporarily) hung up her soccer cleats.
