Ariel | Yoga, Barre & Pre/Post Natal Instructor
Ariel was born and raised in Toronto and spent most of her childhood involved in competitive gymnastics and ballet. In 2002, she tried her first Iyengar Yoga class, and immediately fell in love with the sense of structured movement, precise alignment and meditative qualities of the practice.
A few years later, she completed her Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training with Downward Dog Yoga Center, studying both in Toronto and Mexico. Ariel is also an Aerial Yoga Instructor; her parents were very intuitive when picking her name.
In 2012, the experience of motherhood inspired Ariel to study with Kundalini Yoga Instructor Gurmukh in Vancouver, becoming certified to teach Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga. She feels immense gratitude to be able to share this practice with women on their journey through motherhood.
Ariel teaches a variety of classes, which focus on a creative flow, precise alignment and conscious breathing. She aims to bring her students a sense of connection, peace and balance both on and off the mat.
